The Calendar application in OS X Mountain Lion has an Accounts feature that enables you to download and view your online calendar on your desktop. The information from your online calendar -- such as Google Calendar -- is duplicated in the Calendar application. - If you want your online calendar to fill your Mac's entire desktop via the Calendar app, click the opposing arrows at the top right corner of the Calendar window. To go back to the window's previous size, point your cursor to the screen's top right corner and wait for the menu bar to display. Click the opposing arrows.
- You can automatically sync your online calendar on the Mac's Calendar app to your other Apple devices -- such as an iPad -- via iCloud. Launch Calendar on your Mac and click the 'Calendars' button. Select the online calendar and open the 'Calendar' menu. Click 'Get Info' and select 'iCloud' from the Location drop-down box. Click the 'OK' button.
